My skincare routine consists of a few products. It’s always changing but it I tend to stick to the basics: cleanser, serum and moisturizer. I’ll probably do a separate blog post for my comprehensive skincare routine. For now, I’ll talk about the serums that have changed the texture of my skin for the good.
I have been looking at proper serums at Sephora and everything is just so pricey! I haven’t decided if any of it is worth it so I just pushed it aside and postponed buying any skincare item. Luckily, the kind people over at Eden’s Semilla reached out and had me try out their AMAZING serums.
Eden’s Semilla is basically a brand that specialises in natural oils, essential oils and facial serums. Both serums are free of parabens (preservatives) and sulphates, fragrance-free, vegan-friendly and not tested on animals.
VITAMIN C SERUM
This serum contains 25% Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol, Vitamin E, Rosehip Oil, and Jojoba Oil. It contains more active ingredients than the Hyaluronic Acid Serum that’s why it’s more “powerful” and effective for long term use. The product is aimed to reduce fine lines and prevent premature ageing. It also helps the skin improve its elasticity and moisture. I have been using it every NIGHT for the past 2 weeks and I can tell the difference with my skin’s texture and moisture. About 2 to 3 drops from the dropper would be good enough for the entire face. The consistency is more watery and fluid that it absorbs quite quickly on my face.
How I Use It: I use it after washing my face. Before my face completely dries, I put on the serum and let it absorb before I go ahead and moisturize.
Ingredients: Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Vegan Hyaluronic Acid, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Amino Blend, Aloe Vera Extract, Deionized Water, B-Glucan, Matrixyl 3000, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide Palmitoyl Tripeptide, Witch-hazel extract, Organic Rosehip Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Retinol – Vitamin A, Ferulic Acid, MSM (MethylSulfonylMethane)
HYALURONIC ACID SERUM
This serum contains 20% Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Retinol, Aloe Vera and Shea blend, and Vitamin E. It’s quite effective for maintaining the skin’s moisture and elasticity. It has similar components as the Vitamin C Serum but a little bit less and mild. I’ve been hearing about Hyaluronic Acid all over the skincare business that I decided why not give this a try. The consistency of it is thicker than the Vitamin C one but it absorbs very quickly without being sticky. The serum is also marketed to smooth fine lines and wrinkles and as an antioxidant. From two weeks of using it, I can already tell the difference in how my skin felt. It’s a lot more radiant, smooth, and plump.
How I Use It: I use it every MORNING after washing and before moisturizing.
Ingredients: Vegan Hyaluronic Acid, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Argireline, Aloe Vera Extract, Shea Extract, Gynostemma Pentaphyllum Extract, Matrixyl 3000, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Deionized Water, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Witch-hazel extract, Dipeptide-2, (2s)-2-Amino-5-guanidinopentanoic Acid, Carbomer, Vitamin E, Retinol – Vitamin A, MSM (MethylSulfonylMethane)
I am seriously impressed by these two. For the price point, you wouldn’t really expect much from it, but to be honest I would go back and buy it because it’s WORTH IT! I’ve had a couple of people compliment me for how my skin is behaving lately! I also had my mom try it and she said some of her lines disappeared! I’m in love with it!
Two thumbs up! 5 out of 5! I would definitely recommend this to everyone!
Thanks for dropping by!❤️
