Maybelline Better Skin Concealer

The Maybelline Better Skin Concealer came fairly new to the beauty world. Maybelline is known for their amazing concealers and this Better Skin Concealer didn’t fall off that image.

I’ll start by saying that I have dry and flaky skin (as some of you may already know), and finding a proper concealer that won’t cling to my dry patches is pretty frustrating. Concealers from the drugstore have a lot of hits and misses. Often times we don’t have an option to try before we buy because it’s all sealed and testers are unavailable. Finding a hidden gem is so satisfying. As you probably can tell by this intro, this concealer is worth reaching for.

I don’t like makeup that looks like “makeup” and the Maybelline Better Skin Concealer hits the spot for me. There are days where my skin just feels so dry and dull and I think that piling on makeup will just make it worse. I tried this and it blended so seamlessly on my skin.

I picked up the shade Ivory because I’m using it primarily underneath my eyes and on the dark areas of my skin. It works well as a brightening concealer and, with the proper colour, I think it would also work well as a cover-up. It lasts fairly long and probably even longer when you set it. Creasing rarely happens on me so that isn’t a problem for this concealer.

It has  a standard doe-foot applicator that does its job. I personally like concealers that have applicators instead of squeezy tubes.

Here’s the concealer all blended in.

  • Blends easily
  • Doesn’t cling to dry patches
  • Doesn’t crease

CONS: I have nothing bad to say about this product!

What do you guys think about this concealer??

Thanks for dropping by!  ❤️
