I’ve heard so much about the H&M Beauty yet the only H&M store that has a beauty section is at the Eaton Centre. We need more of this! Because I will start off by saying that these are amazing!
Since these are makeup products from a clothing store, I didn’t expect much. But I heard so many good things about it and decided to give it a try. I picked up a blusher and 3 cream eyeshadows.
The H&M Beauty’s packaging is so simple and elegant. All of their products are in a monochromatic scheme of black, white, and gold. That hexagon-shaped blusher is my fave. Though it feels very light and cheap, the shape is just so cute. The blusher doesn’t come with a mirror but I don’t mind cause I don’t really need a mirror for a blush.
The cream eyeshadows are in glass pots with white lids. Nothing to say about those. ?
PURE RADIANCE POWDER BLUSHER
It says on the box that it’s a sheer coverage with a luminous finish. I picked up the colour Apricot.
It’s a peachy pink blush that’s perfect for the summer. It looks very natural on my skin tone too. The longevity is pretty good as it stayed on for a whole 8-hour shift. It’s also very easy to blend. I’ve been using this every day since I got it! I don’t know why but I got this on sale for only C$5! Such a steal!
COLOUR ESSENCE EYE CREAM
I picked up the colours Dauphine Truffle, Khaki Brocade, and Countess
These cream eyeshadows are one of the softest I have touched. They feel very mousse-y and creamy, are highly pigmented and definitely long-lasting. As I have said, they are pretty impressive! I swatched these on my hand and it was difficult to take off once it sets! I’m liking cream eyeshadows lately and these were perfect to quench that craving. It is perfect just by itself or as a base for powder eyeshadows! These shadows are buildable too so you can go from a sheer wash of colour to a bold and metallic eye look.
